About the Founder
Shannon Mary Terwedo, Principal, has over 20 years experience in research and problem solving as a healthcare executive and genealogist. With a bachelor's degree in microbiology and a master's degree in health services administration, Shannon's education and professional career have made her no stranger to the meticulous research and detail-oriented organization that she now utilizes in historical research. She has honed her genealogical skills through years of genealogical coursework and field research both in the U.S. and abroad, and is a member of the Association for Professional Genealogists. In addition to her work at ProGen, Shannon is a past editor of the California State Genealogical Alliance newsletter.
